In Honor of Our Founder, Mr. Mansha Abbasi

It is both an honour and a profound responsibility to serve as President of Anjuman Takmeel-e-Maqasid-e-Insania (ATMI)—an organization rooted in compassion, resilience, and a deep commitment to humanity. Our journey began over three decades ago through the inspiring vision and selfless leadership of our late founder, Mr. Mansha Abbasi.

In 1992, Mr. Abbasi recognized the urgent need for structured, community-based development in Phagwari and the surrounding areas of Tehsil Murree. With no formal resources but with unwavering resolve, he established ATMI to address the social, educational, and economic challenges faced by marginalized communities. His vision was clear: to fulfill the humanitarian objectives embedded in the name of the organization—“Anjuman Takmeel-e-Maqasid-e-Insania”, meaning “The Association for the Fulfillment of Humanitarian Goals.”

Through his tireless dedication, ATMI became a beacon of hope—empowering women through vocational training, improving access to clean drinking water, enhancing sanitation, and promoting environmental sustainability. He believed that true development must be people-centred, sustainable, and inclusive—and he lived by that belief until his last breath.

Today, we continue to walk the path he paved, driven by his values and strengthened by his legacy. While the challenges before us remain significant—especially in education, infrastructure, and economic resilience—we move forward with confidence and commitment.

On behalf of our entire team, I extend my deepest gratitude to our partners, supporters, and volunteers who share in our mission. Together, we will continue to uphold the spirit of service exemplified by Mr. Mansha Abbasi and strive to create lasting, transformative change in the communities we serve.
